Oh the stress of having to get all of the Christmas cookies done in time....




Ashley, Daddy and Grandma Kathy baked some sugar cookies on Christmas Eve morning. You can see that it went extremely well. OK, that maybe an exaggeration, but Ashley did manage not to lick the dough or pick her nose, so I say it was a success!

Christmas Pictures

Well, Christmas is over and after alot of traveling and eating and opening presents I have to say it was a success. Ashley decided that she really loved all the bows and I decided we should have went to Target and spent $1.50 and got her a bag of bows for Christmas!
I got a lot of good pictures, so here are just a few and I will post more tomorrow.

She really took a liking to Grandma Kathy's dog Miller. This poor dog is 11 years old, I am sure Miller was glad when we left!

A Glimpse of Christmas

A couple of weeks ago we took Ashley to get her Christmas pictures. Of course the place was swamped because it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. But, I think for the most part the pictures turned out great.

And the results are in.....

Ashley is going to be a skinny mini! We went for her 1 year well visit last night and little miss thing is 28 3/4 long which puts her in the 40%. However, her weight is at 18lbs 1 oz which puts her barely in the 15%. So the verdict, she is going to be built like dad! The funny thing is that so far Ashley is the least picky I know, there is nothing that we have given her that she hasn't eaten, well, except her birthday cake. So, I say good for her, her thighs will thank her one day!!

When it is all said and done....

The party was a success. Ashley's first birthday party went off without a hitch. We had alot of friends and family that traveled in to PA to see Ashley. It was a great time and the birthday girl had a wonderful time. Ashley got so many toys that there couldn't be anything left at Toys R Us. So, for Christmas I am thinking she will get alot of clothes!
The only funny thing about Saturday is that Ashley does not like cake. We learned this when she wanted nothing to do with her smash cake and when I gave her a bite of icing on a spoon she made a horrible face and spit it out! I say good for her, I wish I didn't like sweets!!
