Look At That Face

I have no idea why she was so upset when this picture was taken, but that little face just looks like "please don't take my picture". I think this was right before bed time and she didn't want to get her pajamas on. She generally likes to remain in the buff (and a diaper of course) after her bath for a little while.

Mmmmmm... Chicken

Ashley is now eating meats and proteins and I have to say she really likes chicken. Of course you have to slow her down or she would just cram it all in her mouth at once. She also seems to like yogurt alot to, thank goodness she seems to like whatever we give her and she isn't a picky eater like her daddy!

Now, this she comes by naturally, anyone who knows Shawn knows this is how he drinks too!!

The Big Girl Checkup

Yesterday was Ashley's 9 month well visit and it is official.... she is a squirt! She is 16 1/5 lbs and 26 inches long. (Maybe a little longer she wouldn't hold still very well for the nurse!) The doctor is very happy with her size and development. No childhood obesity here, and her other development is right on track or a little ahead. She already has 6 teeth and can walk holding onto the furniture with 1 hand. I think she will be walking on her own any time now, she just has to work on her balance.

I did feel a little bad b/c the entire time in the car I told her no shots at this checkup but when we got there it is flu shot time, so she got her flu shot and her blood taken. She wasn't a happy camper about that.

Oh, and that paper on the table sure does seem interesting to a 9 month old, esp when you are trying to rip it off!

The Look

Now I have to say when this girl eats, it is serious! You wouldn't know by looking at her b/c she is a tiny tiny little thing, who, at 9 1/2 months still wears her 6 - 9 month clothes comfortably, but she can eat with the best of them. And let me tell you what, don't bother her b/c this is the look you will get!

Football Mania

Ok, seriously I need to stop leaving the house! Yesterday I had a nice relaxing day in Georgetown for brunch & shopping with my sorority sisters Erin, Char & Spongie. It was so nice, the weather was great for outdoor shopping and it was nice to get to catch up with everyone.

Well, I leave the house and this is how my precious baby girl is dressed... to match her dad! For the record can I just say that if I ever put Ashley and I in matching outfits Shawn would never, ever, quit making fun of me!! I guess if it is football apparel it is ok :)

Look What Happens.....

when Daddy dresses Ashley for daycare. Yesterday Shawn thought that it was important for Ashley to show her support for the team. But she does look cute in her little shirt. The problem is, when your bed time is at kick off it makes it hard to stay up and cheer for your team!
